Welcome to the Alpha House website--- creating hope through service and and the promotion of wellbeing..
Since 1981, Alpha House has been providing services for those who are under the influence of, or withdrawing from, alcohol and/or other drugs and who require assistance in stabilizing their condition.
Our mission is “to provide a safe and caring environment for individuals whose lives are affected by alcohol and other drug dependencies”, and we do this primarily through offering shelter, detoxification and outreach.
We believe the journey to hope and recovery begins with a single step, and are committed to making a difference in the lives of Calgarians, one individual at a time.
